Julia Cross

Originally from New Zealand, I have been lucky enough to travel and teach in three countries: my extraordinary home county, Thailand and now the UAE! I was fortunate enough to join the Primary Department in January 2020 and immediately knew it was the right place for me! Working with children fuels me – their enthusiasm for learning drives my teaching and outside-the-box thinking never fails to surprise me.

Laughter in the classroom is paramount, and my passion lies in creating a learning culture that not only stimulates the children academically, but socially. In my free time I enjoy soaking up the sun, playing the piano and experiencing other cultures through travel. I’m eagerly looking forward to the rich experiences that I know Dubai will afford me!
