Paul Richardson

I joined DBS in 2019 after spending around a dozen years teaching in and around Manchester - hence the need to relocate to a place with some reliable sunshine so moved to Dubai with my wife and two children. I am a Manchester City  - I even used to follow the team around the country when we were in Division 2! I ended up taking Physics because two of my friends chose it at A Level and I haven't regretted the decision and love teaching a subject as it ranges from the smallest things known to exist to the very biggest. Outside of school I spend alot of time playing different sports, I love running and have completed several marathons and ultramarathons.

Best moment in teaching.

Every time a student goes from confusion to an idea clicking and making sense - teachers can always tell the difference between students who are telling you they get it when they don't compared to those for who they have seen the light!
