Drew Owen

I have been at DBS since 2019, and am Head of Geography. I have lived and worked in Dubai since 2015 and love everything about the city here. Being a Geography teacher, I love exploring new places and travelling around the world. I have also taught BTEC Travel and Tourism since 2015 and have been teaching Geography since 2014.

When I visit a place I like to embrace the whole of it, and studying Geography allows us to do this, which is why I love teaching this subject. I like to experience different cultures and ways of life and love to meet new people.

Best Moment in Teaching

This was taking my current football team to my old school and beating them whilst they played at home. It was a great feeling going back to see my old students, and even better leaving with the win! Well done DBS boys!
