Admissions Assistant
I am from the Netherlands, married to an Irishman and we have two wonderful children. I worked as a bookkeeper for over 20 years with the municipality in the Netherlands before we decided as a family to leave the low-lands and explore different parts of the world.
Since 2008 we have had many adventures in Bahrain, Qatar, The Isle of Man and now Dubai; During that time I have worked in finance, HR, real estate, sales and was even a tour guide in Bahrain.
I love taking on new challenges which I think I would enjoy doing. In my free time I enjoy photography, walking and exploring new areas in the UAE and beyond.
I was lucky enough to start working as Receptionist at DBS Emirates Hills in May 2018 which I enjoyed immensely. At reception we worked closely with the admissions department and in October 2019 I joined the Admissions Team. DBS is like a warm family where we all bond as an amazing team and support each other in any way we can.

I’m from Philippines (one of the happiest country) and graduated with a degree in Financial Accounting from Ateneo de Naga University. I have been working as DBS receptionist since 2017 and I absolutely love it. They recognized me as “happiest person on DBS”. Despite my petite stature of less than five feet, I am nothing short of enormous courage and achievements. As a youth, I was volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Philippines and active member of different organization. After I had experience of travelling, it becomes my passion, as I love to explore and discover more adventure. Best Moment In DBS: I love every morning when all staff, parents and students are coming to school. I become enthusiastic everyday while seeing their huge smiles. Becoming an outstanding school was a really great experience. The high level of professionalism, supportive colleagues and great students gives me always a positive energy.

I was born and raised in Brazil but have also lived in Australia, the USA and the Netherlands. I have lived in Dubai for 12 years now and this is the city I call home. I have a 10-year-old son who is a student at DBSEH. I have a bachelor's degree in Trilingual Executive Secretaryship, a Post-Graduate certificate in Management and a Master's in Psychology but I have always worked in education, either as a teacher or in admin. I have worked for Taaleem for 10 years. I started at our Sister school Uptown International School and then joined Dubai British School Jumeirah Park Foundation during the construction phase. I am excited to join DBSEH after 8 lovely years at DBF!
