I am a qualified and experienced Arabic teacher who have graduated from Minya University, Egypt 2003.

I began my career in education at Al Bayan Bilingual School, Kuwait, as a Nursery Teacher’s assistant. During my 10 years there I held the positions of Nursery Supervisor and Head Arabic teacher. In expanding my line of expertise, I worked with students with Learning Disabilities at Fawzia Al Sultan Learning Institute, Kuwait, as the school’s Pre-Academic and Therapeutic Program Coordinator, then I moved with my family to Saudi Arabia. In Riyadh, I worked for 5 years as an Arabic Culture and Language teacher at the American International School of Riyadh; and for 6 years as the K-3 coordinator and Arabic teacher at Advanced Learning Schools, an IB school. In 2011, I moved to Dubai and since then I am working here as an Arabic teacher for non-Arabic speakers. I am a member in the CIS visiting team, having recently being a part of an accreditation team that visited schools internationally. Best Moment In Teaching My best moments in teaching are: whenever we danced, laughed or sang together, when my pupils surprise me with their accomplishments, when one of my Y6 pupils earned the International Benchmark Test ‘Award for Excellence’, and when the Arabic B department was rated as Very Good from DSIB. All of the above and much more are one of my beat moments ever!

I am an experienced Arabic teacher who graduated in 2007 and arrived in Dubai in 2008. I have worked for 3 years in Sharjah, and now going into my 7th year in Dubai. I am a father of 2 daughters and have a loving wife. I live in Sharjah, and I like teaching and learning new things every day. I also feel joy when I get my point across to students and allow them to learn, as well as leading them to the right path. Best Moment In Teaching When i see my students being successful and getting high scores, as well as achieving awards in school and seeing them successful in the future.

I'm an expert Arabic teacher worked in government schools in Jordan before moving to Sharjah and then to Dubai to work at DBS in August 2010. During my life at DBS and in addition to my job as the Arabic B teacher in secondary school I worked in a variety of roles from Head of Department, Assistant of the Arabic Director to the DBS Arabic ambassador. I teach Arabic for our year 9 students at GCSE level as an early entries I have popular classes for the non-Arab DBS parents which are offered for free, I also teach Arabic to DBS teachers in their free time. My main aim is to raise the profile of the Arabic language and Arabic culture at DBS; this work was mentioned clearly in some DSIB reports and in Dubai newspapers. Best Moment In Teaching When I see the students enjoying learning the Arabic language and use Arabic outside the classroom. When I see the great Arabic GCSE results of my non-Arabic students. When I see the respect and understanding of the culture every day at DBS and the big number of participants in the cultural events such as National day, Ramadan, DBS iftar ... etc When I see a native English speaker parent give a speech in Arabic in some cultural events at DBS. When a journalist from "The National" visited my Arabic class and the first thing she recognized that the students are happy. When I see the parents happy to stay longer in the Arabic sessions and don't want to leave the Arabic class even the class time is already over.

I am a qualified & experienced teacher and translator. I joined DBS in 2013 addition to my experience in both American university in the Emirates and well known & outstanding schools in Jordan. I have a KHDA Approval for teaching Arabic a second language for BOTH Primary & Secondary stages I have a recommendation from KHDA Inspectors as a one of the best teaching they have seen in Dubai schools and improving the attainment and the progress to a very good level. During my teaching experience I have participated in different workshops and seminars to train teachers about how to use technology in the classroom and how to use gamification and different technological tools and applications to support teaching and learning Arabic as a second language. In addition to participation to creating and designing schemes of work and curriculum that meet the needs of students who learn Arabic as a second language. Best Moment In Teaching My best teaching moment is when I am able to create a loving and responsible community for my students. When keeping my students engaged and productive and helping them get to understand the importance, relevance and necessity of Arabic for their future and their everyday lives. Simple words from my students like “Thank you”, “I’ll never forget what you did to help me..” make me the happiest and I feel that I have achieved my target and enabled them to love and improve in this beautiful language.

I was born in Egypt- Cairo the land of pyramids. I am a passionate language teacher with 15 years of experience in the international educational field. I graduated from Cairo university and I hold (CCTAFL) certificate in curriculum design and development from the American university of Cairo, certified trainer for (leader in me) program by Lahaye university and achieved my diploma in ATP (Arabic Teaching Practice) I have enjoyed working as an Arabic teacher and always has a passion to create resources and design the curriculum through teaching Arabic. I wrote the book 'World of Fun Letters' with 28 stories for young children learning Arabic for the first time. The aim of this book is to help support children in developing their reading and writing skills. I love working with the students and find engaging ways to improve the teaching of Arabic and gain the best for the students. In my free time, I enjoy designing and making accessories to use my creativity and artisanry to design. I believe that If we meet students of all ages where they are, then articulate high expectation, they rise to and even exceed the challenge when provide it with encouragement.

When I learn new skills not only in my subject area, but also in other related subjects and extracurricular activities.

I am originally from Syria where I was born and raised . After graduating with a degree in Arabic from Damascus ,I started my teaching career in Syria and spent six years teaching Arabic. I moved to the UAE with my family in 1995 where I started teaching Arabic in primary schools in Sharjah . After few years I started to teach in international schools in Dubai. I started teaching Arabic A in DBS in 2012 and this year marks my 25th year of teaching Arabic In this lovely country. I have a strong passion for teaching kids and inspiring them to learn this beautiful language . Outside of work I enjoy reading ,cooking delicious Arabic food and playing volleyball.
