Rania Sami Abdelhamid Nasr

Primary Arabic Teaching Assistant

When I learn new skills not only in my subject area, but also in other related subjects and extracurricular activities. Gaining positive relationships whether with my students, their families, or even the community around me.

When I learn from children because I believe that the teacher not only transmits information to his pupils but also acquires many qualities that may change his perspective to life.

Arabic language teaching was my passion since I finished my bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Faculty of Education, Alexandria University, Egypt.  I started teaching Arabic 1994 in Egypt where I gained most of my experience and moved with my family to Dubai in the summer of 2013.

I joined Dubai British school as volunteer and substitute teacher in 2017 then joined as Arabic Learning Assistant in September 2018.
As member of DBS Arabic teaching team, I enjoy developing our students’ Arabic language skills with focus on beginners and non-native Arabic speakers.

Best moment in teaching

When children start to read Arabic words in the right way for the first time, I can feel how happy they are to speak the language of their new home; UAE.
