Head Librarian

After I studied Media as my bachelor degree in Istanbul, Turkey, I have been in corporate life both in Istanbul and in London. I moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE with my husband in 2007 with an intention to expand our family. Being a full-time mother for half a decade inspired me to set a business with a friend to organize events for younger children, which we successfully ran for 3 years.

I always enjoyed being with children as well as working with them. Hence, I joined DBS in 2018 as a supply Learning Assistant and Library Assistant.  I see myself in this role to support the kids with their adventures in reading and learning new things through books.

I am now Head Librarian and I look forward to learning new things from the children and my peers
