Welcome to Key Stage 4
Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) marks a rite of passage in a young person’s education in which they exercise choice in their curriculum, personalise their learning experience and set the foundations for their academic and professional future.
It is important to give some consideration to your GCSE choices in preparation for the sixth form. Almost all DBSEH students enter university to study for a degree, for which they may need to have selected specific combinations of A-Level or BTEC subjects; GCSEs set students up for making those A-Level and BTEC choices.
The GCSE Options Booklet has been designed to give you as much information as possible to make the best decisions regarding your studies at DBS Emirates Hills and to take control of these vital next steps in your academic development.
