With over 15 years of experience in education, I have worked across both international and UK high‑performing school settings. Throughout my career, I have been grounded in a deep belief that children have one opportunity to experience education – and it is our responsibility as educators to make that experience rich, meaningful, and inclusive for every single child.
I began my journey in the classroom and have since held a range of leadership roles, developing extensive experience in teaching and learning, pastoral care, and whole‑school improvement. I have been fortunate to support schools on their journey to outstanding and beyond, leading work that strengthens classroom practice, nurtures leadership at every level, and ensures that every child is supported to succeed.
At the heart of my leadership is a strong commitment to people. I firmly believe that when children truly enjoy their learning, they become more confident, more curious, and more ready to thrive. I am equally passionate about creating a culture where staff feel valued, supported, and inspired. Through strong relationships, clarity of expectations, and a shared sense of purpose, I strive to build a community where everyone feels empowered to be their very best.
As Headteacher, I am committed to leading a school that is ambitious for every child and united in its vision. I believe deeply in creating an environment where children are both challenged and supported – where they look forward to coming to school each day, grow academically and personally, and achieve outcomes that open doors to their future. With a strong focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and high‑quality teaching, my goal is for every child to truly flourish. As a parent myself, I am especially excited for my daughter to join the Dubai British School community. This adds a personal layer to my commitment and gives me an even greater sense of responsibility. It reinforces my dedication to ensuring that every child and every family experiences a genuine sense of belonging, opportunity, and success.
