reena sadierMathematics Faculty Leader - Reena Sadier

Having graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Cardiff University, Reena went on to study for a PGCE in Secondary education at Oxford University. She began her teaching career in Ruislip, Middlesex, where she took on responsibility for aspects of academic and pastoral development. She then took up the position of Department Coordinator in The International School of Milan, Italy and in 2009 she was appointed to the position of Head of Mathematics at DBS.

stephen fairfieldMathematics Teacher - Stephen Fairfield

Having graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Mathematics with Economics, Stephen initially worked in the IT industry before training to become a teacher at Warwick University. He has ten years experience of teaching undertaken at schools in Milton Keynes and Corby before coming to DBS. In his teaching career he has had a number of roles of responsibility and has achieved the status of Advanced Skills Teacher. He enjoys cycling, swimming and has completed a number of 10km and half marathon distance races.

adrian knowlesMathematics Teacher - Adrian Knowles

Adrian graduated from Loughborough University in 2004 with a degree in Mathematics and Management and went on to do his PGCE at Nottingham University. Following this he worked at Hind Leys Community College for four years teaching Years 10 to 13. Moving back to his home town of Birmingham, Adrian taught at Stourport High School teaching all age groups from 11 to 18. Adrian’s hobbies include a love of travel as well as a love of sport. He is a big supporter of Aston Villa.
