Mark graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2003 with a BA Hons in Interactive Multimedia; he then completed his PGCE in Secondary ICT at Nottingham Trent University the following year. His first teaching post was at South Wolds Community School in Keyworth; after two years he moved on to Arnold Hill School where he became Second in Department, responsible for developing and managing the Key Stage 3 curriculum for ICT.
