Profile

Dubai British School is about to embark on a program of improvement in IT across the school.  Vital to this is the appointment of a Network Manager who can ensure this process is a smooth and efficient one.  Working under the direction of the Director of Educational Technology, the successful candidate must have the technical ability to install and manage a new server, manage all client pc's and laptops, manage a budget, and lead the current network team.  A very good grasp of written and verbal English is essential, as is a willingness to work late hours if needed.  An interest in the latest Web 2.0 technologies, and how they could be utilised in the school, would enhance the appeal of any candidate.

This position would suit any IT professional who is looking for an opportunity to develop their own career, rebuild a school network, and contribute to improving IT for staff and students in the school.
