Please take note of the following information with regards to study leave for the Summer Exams.
Any Year 10 student sitting a GCSE exam during the summer exam series (May/June) will be allowed both the day before and the day of the exam as study leave and will be expected to return to school for all other non-exam school days. (Year 10 exams will mainly be for Science and the accelerated Maths group)
The last day of teaching for Year 11 students will be Thursday 16th May 2013. Any Year 11 pupil sitting an exam on the 13th,14th or 17th May will be allowed the day before and the day of the exam as study leave and will be expected to return to school for all other non-exam school days.
The last day of teaching for Year 12 students will be Thursday 9th May 2013. Year 12 students will return to normal lesson on Sunday 9th June 2013.
The last day of teaching for Year 13 students will be Thursday 30th May 2013.
Any Year 13 students re-sitting modules before the date mentioned above will be allowed take the day before and the day of the examination as study leave.

Examinations Guidebook 2012-13
The DBS Examinations Guidebook is for students and parents of students who will be taking GCSE or GCE (A level) examinations at DBS.
A paper copy of the Guidebook has been issued to all students. Students should make themselves familiar with the contents, particularly the regulations governing all external examinations. It also contains contact details for out of school hours.
